GRASP: Generating, Revising, and Assessing for Strategic Planning with Agentic AI

Source facts
GRASP is a multi-stage planning framework with separate modules for global macro-guidelines, localized strategy exploration, and independent trajectory evaluation. The preprint reports gains over direct LLM planners on calendar scheduling, ZebraLogic, and SciBench Math, and reports reduced multi-task degradation. The arXiv comments state acceptance at the REALM workshop at EMNLP 2026.
Analysis
GRASP makes planning modular and context-isolated: global strategy is compiled once, local alternatives are explored separately, and a discriminator evaluates trajectories. This is a direct response to reliability degradation as task complexity and concurrent objectives increase.
Uncertainty/Doubt
- This is an arXiv preprint. The reported benchmark gains, comparison to frontier models, and workshop acceptance statement were not independently reproduced or checked here.
